Who we are
TOIT is a Non-Profit, Non-Government Organization registered in Nepal in 2000 whose primary mission is to provide educational opportunities to disadvantaged. In 2007, we provided 121 children an opportunity for an education. A detailed project presentation is available here.
Scholarships
Initially, TOIT focused its efforts on linking children whose families lack the resources to send them to school with donors willing to fund scholarships. In 2007 we provided scholarships to 70 needy children.

School
As the organization evolved, we found that we could better serve the community by building our own school. We began construction on Saraswati Pathshala primary school in 2005. It has a full curriculum that focuses on developing the children's creative skills in a safe environment where their low economic status would not hinder their learning. With your help, we can finish the school in 2008.
Women's Project
TOIT established a knitting and weaving project in 2005 to give the families of our students an opportunity to be self- sufficient and save for their future. Currently, 10 women are working in this project. You can read more about this project here.
