What is the sponsorship process for the children?
Step 1: Selection of students
Parents submit a request for sponsorship. TOIT's scholarship committee does an in home interviews and study each child's situation to determine that:
- Children are from poverty stricken families,
- Children show a willingness and desire to go to school, (this is learned from their past school performance),
- The parents show a commitment to educate their child.
- Parents sign our agreement (you can see a blank copy here)

Step 2: Sponsors
Once a child has been approved, we match a sponsor up with the student. The sponsor
receives background information about the student (click here for an example).
Step 3: Admission and payment to schools
The child completes the admissions process at the school they are attending
TOIT pays all expenses directly, to avoid any potential of misuse of donor's funds.
Step 4: The child studies very hard and gets great marks and makes everyone very proud
(Ok this is our dream but it does happen frequently).
Step 5: School results along with drawings and TOIT project information are sent to
sponsors.
