About TOIT

TOIT is a non-profit NGO or Non-Governmental Organization, whose primary mission is to help educate orphaned and needy children in Nepal, regardless of race, caste, or creed.

TOIT is working to bridge the widening gap in Nepal between rich and poor, literate and illiterate, by sending poor but worthy students of disadvantaged families to good quality private schools, where they will have the same opportunities to learn and grow, and go on to higher studies.

We do this by linking motivated children with caring Sponsors from around the world. We currently provide complete scholarships to 150 children through the support of donors from around the world.

Our name, TOIT, is from the French word for shelter or roof, and speaks to our efforts to protect the children of Nepal from the effects of poverty.

TOIT is non-political, our only interest is the education of children.

TOIT has been registered with the Nepal Government, District Administration Office, Bhaktapur and affiliated under the Ministry of Social Welfare Council-The Government of Nepal since 2000. We are committed to the honest and transparent use of all our funds.
