  • Inauguration of school and cultural program, April, 18th, 2007

    The primary school, called « Saraswati Pathshala », has opened his door for the new academic year 2064 B.S. (April 2007). TOIT and student members of comity of the association officialy inaugurated the school and the cultural program on April, 18th, 2007.

    The program began with a musical and warm welcome, then pursuited with dances, honour guest, TOIT’ president, guests and students speechs. The dances were performed by these students.

    The main guest was Marie-Pierre from France. She made a short but warm speech, with congratulations for TOIT’ succes. Martin from South Africa wished that « Paraswati Pathshala » become a haven of peace and advice for everyone. Mr Indra Prasad Khaitu, TOIT’ president, presented the organization and the help it provide to needy family from the lower society. There is about 108 children sponsored now ! TOIT is constantly working in order to help more and more children in providing them education, with the aim « to build a nation ». Jean Marc Delespaul from France, Jelke Tigchelaar from Holland, Mario-Freivoge and Christien from Germany were also at the inauguration. They talked about TOIT’ actions for the needy children, and declared to be happy of events turn. They said they trusted the work of the organization and hope to help for a long time in the different projects. To conclude, they wished a good prosperity to TOIT.

    Among the students members of TOIT comity, those who made a speech were :

    Renu Khayamali (students members’ president)
    She talked about the training of the students members of TOIT comity. A student from the comity, called « Swaras, the CASGOT », tought 10 members a year ago, in 2006. These are the « students +2 » (the students who achievedn their study at school and who are now studying in high scholl in class 11 or 12). The main purpose of the comity is to help TOIT in doing work such as to write marks reports of the children, to advice and talk to parents of their child, etc. Swaras also organized a health program and helps children to prepare their letters and drawings.
    Karmila shashi (Vice president)
    She welcame all the members of the program with a speech of introduction. She was greeted to care of the program, and to give it a great beginning.
    Sulochhana Laluwa (member)
    Sulochhana, one the student member of TOIT comity, delivered a speech of thanks at the end of the program. She thanked from her heart everyone without who this program would have never been born.

    Were also presents students, members of TOIT, volunteers, parents, etc : all of the people who helped the program to become a succes. We are grateful to all the guests who cooperated with us and enabled us to make this project working. Even if our prject is modest, with the efforts of TOIT and its partners, it will grow rapidely. We hope we will be able to manage other programs of this kind in the next months.
